Background
14 years building for the web
I have run my own web practice in Toronto since 2012, building and maintaining production websites end-to-end, often for local businesses, many of them Japanese-speaking. That means I have handled the full lifecycle myself: design, build, launch, and the years of maintenance, fixes, and improvements that follow.
My core is WordPress and PHP, and I have been steadily moving into modern full-stack work: Laravel and Vue for application development, React / TypeScript and Next.js on the front end, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, web security, and AI features built on the Anthropic Claude API. I build in the open, and most of my recent work is public on GitHub.
